Good morning to all students and families,
I just wanted to provide you with an update as to our plans for Week 3, 4 and what we may be anticipating for Week 5 pending further advice.
At this stage, we have informed you all about our plans for Weeks 3 and 4. Our plans for Week 3 have not changed and will be as per our previous advice with Year 11 and 12 attending on Monday and the other year groups attending in house groups for the remaining four days of the week.
However, we have decided to bring forward our return of Year 12 students in line with current advice.
From Week 4 (Monday 18th May), Year 12 will be returning on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday with Wednesday being used for those Year 12 students who study a VET subject. This will effectively mean that most of Year 12 will be returning in Week 4 for four days per week, possibly five depending on their study pattern.
I encourage Year 12 students to read the documentation carefully and bring the signed permission note to school as soon as possible if they will be accessing a flexible attendance arrangement.
The remaining years will attend on the previously planned days and I have attached a link to the timetable explaining what those days are. At this stage we have timetabled this in anticipation of Week 5 as well but that may change as advice changes so stay tuned.
Children who have no other option than to attend school may do so.
We are looking forward to transitioning all students back as the term progresses and as it is safe to do so.
