Weekly Careers Newsletters
Each week the Careers Newsletter is emailed to students via their det email. These updates cover employment, trades, TAFE, volunteering, university, private providers, HSC study days, holiday programs, work experience contacts, online events, competitions and lots more. Students and families can register for updates from NSW and others states to their private emails.

Year 10 Work Experience
All students receive the information to start approaching employers early Term 1. Students are encouraged to complete two work experience placements in Year 10. To assist students the database of previous employers is on display outside the Careers Office.
Create a Professional Resume
Students can register in the Student Secure Section of the http://www.kooringalhighcareers.com/ website to build and edit a resume. In this section they can also create job cover letters, complete a mock job application and put together a range of career plans. Step-by-step instructions and a resume example are included in the documents below.
