Pursuing Law and Justice

Jakoaba Smith

After graduating from Kooringal High School in 2023, Jakoaba is now studying Law and Criminology at UNSW. Through leadership opportunities and the support of her teachers, she built the skills and confidence to pursue university and a career in the legal profession.

Building a Career While at School

Jade Tapfield

Through a School-Based Traineeship while completing Year 12, Jade launched a career in healthcare. Now working as an Aboriginal Health Practitioner and Assistant Nurse, she is also studying nursing at Charles Sturt University while continuing to support patients across the Riverina.

Confidence Through Creativity

Ben Murray

Through his involvement in music and co-curricular opportunities at Kooringal High School, Ben developed the skills, confidence and passion to pursue further study in the arts. He is now studying music at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University.
