Community involvement

Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.

Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)

The P&C meetings are a fantastic opportunity to connect with the school community and fellow parents as we work together to support the growth and development of Kooringal High School.

The P&C has the objective to promote the interests of the school by bringing parents, citizens, students and teaching staff into close co-operation; and to assist in providing facilities and equipment for the school.

Our P&C Association is very active in raising funds to benefit the school and is also used as a discussion forum on changes occurring such as uniform as well as allocation of funds raised.  The P&C meet in the Staff common room on the fourth Tuesday of every month.

Volunteer at our school

Helping out at school is a great way to get involved in your school community.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• helping in the canteen
• getting involved in the P&C
• listening to children read in the classroom
• volunteering on sports days and other school events
• helping supervise excursions.
